**Job Purpose**:

- To maximise the quality of life by providing social and psychological support for individuals and appropriate groups of residents.
- To create a stimulating activity programme using the appropriate tool in each home.

**Skills, knowledge and qualifications**

**Required**:

- Genuine interest in working within a caring environment
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Have good written skills
- Team player
- Satisfactory DBS check and check against the ISA List (where applicable)

**Desired**
- Relevant Vocational Qualification (achieved / working towards)
- Worked in a Care Home previously and some experience of arts and crafts

**Reporting to**:the manager or the person in charge

**Salary**: £10.60 per hour
