**Job Overview.**

Purpose of the role: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as our HertsHelp Engagement Officer to drive forward our Marketing, Client & Partnership Engagement, and Impact Reporting. This role is pivotal in promoting our services, engaging clients and partners, and assessing and communicating the impact of our initiatives.

**Responsibilities**:
**Marketing and Communication -40%**
- Support the Service and Development Manager and the commissioners to Develop Marketing and Communication Strategies
- Implement strategic marketing and communications plans to promote the HertsHelp services across various channels.
- Create compelling content, including social media posts, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Work with the Commissioners to support with advertising and promotion of the service.
- HertsHelp has Facebook, LinkedIn, and Xaccounts the post holder will be responsible creating and adding content and monitoring the use of these sites to advertise events and make the public aware of events and campaigns. Utilising tools to manage inbound queries and schedule outbound posts.
- As social media and Apps develop, the post holder will be responsible for considering the use and reach of these, where appropriate, and initiating roll out and implementation.
- Ensure that all communications activity (including letters, printed materials, signage, leaflets etc), as well as digital presence (including websites and social media channels) is consistent with the HertsHelp brand and style guidelines and regularly reviewed and up to date.
- Ensure the HertsHelp website is up to date and ensure that the latest accurate information is included on the site. This will be done in partnership with the Councils Web Team, who currently supply and maintain the website.
- To address enquiries from local press and work with Service Development Manager to provide appropriate responses. And monitor and record all press coverage
- Design and deliver information sessions and workshops for clients and frontline workers.

**Client Engagement: 20%**
- Attend community engagement events to increase the profile of the service with the public.
- Build and maintain a community outreach toolkit for community events.
- Support other team member to support the promotion of the service.
- Develop and implement client engagement initiatives, such as surveys and feedback mechanisms, to gather insights and enhance service delivery.
- Ensure that all information passed to residents, such as leaflets and posters, is fully accessible, up to date and accurate by using different languages and formats where required.
- Develop a good understanding of local communities across the County and support the Service and Development Manager to maintain an up-to-date community profile and resource bank.

**Partnership Development:20%**
- Represent HertsHelp at meetings and conferences
- Identify and engage with potential partners, including local government agencies, nonprofits, and community organisations.
- Plan and allocate community events at locations throughout the County.
- Support the Service and Development Manager to build and maintain a relationship across the HertsHelp Network
- Develop and implement client engagement initiatives, such as surveys and feedback mechanisms, to gather insights and enhance service delivery.
- Advertise and promote the service through key providers such as those within the HertsHelp Network, on the Hertfordshire Directory, through District Council websites, Primary Care Network’s and locally in each District.

**Impact Reporting: 20%**
- Generate reports and presentations to communicate key findings and outcomes to stakeholders, including funders, partners, and internal teams. Sourcing case studies, staff profiles and relevant imagery to help promote the service.
- Provide evaluation-based data which supports with assessing the effectiveness of communications activities, such as where people heard about their services, as well as data on the impact of key communication campaigns throughout the year e.g. increased contacts generated as a result of any major comms launches.
- Ensure that the statistics and outcomes required for KPI monitoring are collected and recorded for community and partner events and workshops.
- Work with the Service Development Manger to monitor KPIs and project resources as necessary.
