**Full Job Description**

We are recruiting for a unique and challenging role to join our continually expanding private healthcare business.

TAC Holding Ltd is a parent company to several audiology, ENT and clinical ear care businesses across the UK, and we are looking to recruit a permanent full-time Clinical Operations Administrator to join our small and friendly head office in Edinburgh.

The role will primarily support the Group Clinical Administration Supervisor, who in turn supports the Group Clinical Operational Lead who is responsible for a UK wide senior nursing team. This is a diverse role which includes a wide range of tasks that are not limited to the standard clinical administrator/assistant role.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities will include**:
**_Clinical Administration_**
- Transcribing medical notes and dictation
- Sending medical referrals to other medical and allied healthcare professional
- Answering the telephone, deal with queries relevant and/or take accurate messages, record details, and pass on to the appropriate team/individual in a timely manner.
- Organising the Group Clinical Lead's diary, including booking meetings, travel, and accommodation
- Respond to enquiries, providing both written and verbal information, directing queries to other departments/agencies as appropriate, referring complex conditions to Group Clinical Lead when necessary.
- Complete clinical audits for HIS purposes.
- Work closely and provide administrative assistance with the compliance team.
- Process and update all relevant documentation where appropriate, using manual and computerised systems, providing information and records as requested.
- Photocopying and filing, plus other general office duties as and when required
- Taking minutes at all CEC meetings

**_Training and Staff Development_**
- Booking staff 121's, appraisals and typing and filing subsequent documentation

**_Recruitment_**
- Advertisement placements
- Working with our recruitment partners
- Recruitment administration including typing interview notes

**_Essential criteria for this post_**
- Previous medical administration experience, knowledge of medical terminology and audio typing is essential.
- You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work proactively and prioritise workload.
- You should be able to integrate well with the existing team and have a genuine desire to provide a quality service to all patients.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong IT and administrative skills, especially in Microsoft Office Package and needs to be proficient in Excel.
- Ability to demonstrate a professional approach in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Be self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a growing team.
