An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Reception and Administration Team as a Clinical Administrator. We are looking for an experienced Administrator who understands the running of a GP practice and can undertake/learn the tasks of the role.

Your job will be to ensure that, at all times, high standards of work are maintained and procedures continually monitored and improved where necessary. In your role you will undertake tasks such as WOOP (workflow optimisation), coding, assisting with patient recall via BMR (birth month recall), sharing the management of enhanced service claims, sharing the production of GP rotas as well as managing GP and Nurse appointments and arranging Locums and supporting reception where necessary.

This is a busy role requiring an individual who has the ability to communicate well, work proactively and prioritise work accordingly. You should be able to demonstrate high attention to detail and have a willingness to learn and develop your own skills. You should be able to work independently as well as effectively within the wider team. Ideally, you will have experience working in an NHS, General Practice or administrative setting but this is not essential as you will receive further training as relevant. Much of our time is spent working with computers and general competency is essential. We use Vision clinical system and Docman mail system. We offer the Cycle to Work Scheme and you would get a Blue Light discount shopping card.
