Talbot House Children's Charity (formally known as Talbot House Trust) are a registered charity with a Residential Children's Home and School on the same site.

Set in 8 acres of beautifully maintained gardens and land, you would be forgiven if you thought we are based in the heart of the countryside, however, we are based in Walbottle, offering an easy commute to staff and visitors.

Our Charity is looking to recruit additional full time Senior Residential Childcare Workers (SRCWs) to join our team.

With relevant experience and the correct NVQ Level 3 qualification, successful SRCWs will support the Registered Manager with the effective and efficient running of our 5 bedroom.

Our staff help us to provide security and stability for the young people, enabling the young people to achieve positive change in their lives.

Sleep-ins are paid at an extra **£60 **per sleep shift. Based on 8 sleeps per month, you could earn on average, an additional, **£5,760** per annum, giving a total starting salary of **£33,481.23 (including sleeps, but excluding over-time)**.

Overtime, which is paid at time and one half, and sleep payments, are paid addition to our competitive basic salary which starts at **£27,721.23 per annum** and rises further to **£29,857.15 per annum** with length of service.

Hours are based on **37.5** hours per week, and rota's are based on **162.5** hours per month. Rota's are completed in advance, and we work on a rolling rota so you will know when you are working in advance.

Working at the Trust you will:
