About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding role, requiring a strong commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment for our young people. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement individual care plans, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high levels of therapeutic care to our young people, including emotional support and guidance
  • Develop and implement individual care plans, working closely with our team to ensure each child receives the support they need
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, promoting the well-being and development of our young people
  • Work collaboratively with our team to achieve positive outcomes for our young people
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a children's residential care home (desirable)
  • A level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (desirable)
  • A Full driving licence issued in the UK
  • Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
  • Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
  • A keen interest in outdoor and adventure activities
  • Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above
