**Position and hourly rate of pay depends on qualifications and experience**
Kinetic is a national charity that delivers youth work and informal education services within the secure estate (prisons), in Youth Offending Institutes with under 18’s, in the adult estate with 18-25-year-olds and in some secure children’s homes and education settings. We have been delivering these services for twelve years and have robust methods, policies and processes in place.
Our work is unique in supporting individuals who struggle to engage. It is very challenging due to the circumstances, but very rewarding due to the individuals we work with.

We are very passionate about what we do, and the demand for our services is increasing. As we grow as a charity and secure new contracts we are looking to recruit to the following:
**2 x Specialist Youth Work Supervisor part-time 18.5 hours a week including evenings.**
JNC 16 - 17 £14.81 - £16.06 per hour
**2 x Youth Work Supervisor part-time 14 hours a week including evenings**
JNC 12 - 15 £12.81 - £14.39 per hour
**Youth Support Worker part-time 2 evenings a week**
JNC 8 - 11 £10.89 - £12.26 per hour
**Job Summary**:
The post holder will be responsible for the coordination of youth services across the Kinetic portfolio in line with Kinetic Youth Ltd policies and procedures.
**Main duties and Responsibilities**
- Management of particular project/staff/area of responsibility
- Delivery of youth clubs, activities and projects as directed
- Delivery of a comprehensive face to face curriculum programme of work to young people
- Delivery of recorded and accredited outcomes for young people where possible
- Effective planning and evaluation of programmes of delivery
- Support the Youth Work Supervisor, Youth Work Coordinator and Senior Youth Work Coordinator with delivery as directed
- Punctual and regular time keeping
- Comply with Kinetic Policies which support equality, diversity and anti-discriminatory practice
We accept this is a challenging role and we have high expectations as these individuals have been let by down so many already. However, we do have numerous staff welfare practices in place to support individuals willing to take on the challenge.
