Job Description

Falkirk Community Trust is seeking a Youth Sports Development Officer to deliver high-quality sport specific coaching sessions to children and young people in our community.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To assist in delivering sport specific coaching sessions, developing coaching skills, and ensuring participant enjoyment.
  • To work with children and young people on a 1 to 1 situation or in small groups.
  • To encourage young people to develop skills, knowledge, and techniques relevant to their sport.
  • To help at primary and secondary school festivals and community festivals.

Key Skills and Qualities:

  • No sports coaching experience required, just a positive can do attitude and willingness to learn.
  • A passion for sport and physical activity.
  • Interest in working with young people.
  • A commitment and motivation to learn and develop.
  • An ability to follow instruction and adhere to Health and Safety.

Salary and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of £22,000 per annum.
