Body Work Specialist

Palfinger UK is currently looking for a highly skilled Body Work Specialist to join our state-of-the-art workshops. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting body kits to commercial vehicles and collaborating with our engineers to ensure high-quality results.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in vehicle body building, excellent fabrication and welding skills, and knowledge of mechanical fitting practices. They must also be able to read engineering drawings and possess a strong understanding of vehicle body design.
We offer a competitive salary of approximately £40,000 per annum, based on capability and experience, as well as sociable working hours from Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00, with an earlier finish at 16:00 on Fridays. Opportunities for overtime and career development within Palfinger UK and the wider T H White Group are also available.
Benefits include five days holiday plus bank holidays, rising to 26 days after one year's service, as well as a Share Plan, providing employees with a stake in the business. A company pension scheme with employer contributions of up to 8% and Life Assurance cover providing up to five times salary with service are also provided.
