**What the day will look like**

The main purpose of the role is to oversee and manage the broking process (placement, preselection and set up of structured portfolio solutions (SPSs)) as well as all associated management duties within UK Broking Centre of Excellence (CoE).

The Broking Lead will work in the Broking Centre of Excellence and will be responsible for building and leading a team. The role will report to the UK Broking Lead. We are looking for a high-quality individual to fill this role as they will be the key to ultimately ensuring our clients receive the best possible terms and solutions to fit their needs.

A key requirement of the role will be helping to develop and manage Aon’s Broking Proposition working closely with key stakeholders internally as well as the markets to help drive enhancements and efficiencies across all solution lines.

Through building and maintaining strong relationships with key carrier stakeholders the Broking Lead will help develop market propositions to demonstrate clearly how they can add value to our clients.
- Work closely with the consulting team leadership and operations teams to help promote the Aon Broking proposition
- Manage the CofE broking process, and develop and lead the team to deliver high quality market reviews
- Lead and/or oversee tenders for SPS providers within the Health & Benefits solutions framework
- Drive SPS utilisation through workflow management, consultant education and analysis
- Drive efficiencies through evolution of the Health & Benefits broking processes
- Manage broking revenue recognition process
- Own and develop provider management in line with framework
- Manage consultant/client escalations on providers

- Extensive Health & Benefits market experience, preferably with a Healthcare or Group Risk background and qualification
- Leadership experience managing high performing teams
- Strong negotiation skills
- Client facing experience an advantage
- Strong technical knowledge of Health & Benefits Insurance
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise urgent requests
- Build strong multi-layer relationships with clients and key stakeholders internally and externally
- Experience in vendor management
- Ability to work in a complex, deadline driven environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-starter, adaptable to change
- Experience in identifying and driving process improvement initiatives
- Budget Management Experience
- Good IT skills - proficient use of Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word
