**Job Title: **Clinical Psychologist

**Location: **Acorn Park School, Norfolk

**Salary: **£45,000 to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience

**Hours**: 8.30am - 4.30pm, 37.5 hours per week

**Contract: **Permanent, 52 weeks per annum

We’re looking for a clinical psychologist with demonstrable leadership skills to join our well-established clinical team. Holding clinical responsibility within a special school environment, you will contribute to bespoke assessment and intervention plansfor the students we support. **About the role**:
The post is located within Acorn Park School (an Ofsted rated ‘good’ provider) to join a well-established large clinical team to facilitate MDT working, consisting of Art Psychotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy, and TherapiesAssistants. The clinical team is embedded into the structure of the school which enable positive and effective multi-disciplinary working across the education and residential staffteams, in order to maximise clinical outcomes for students. Outcomes FirstGroup support the clinical CPD in the South Region which facilitates supervision and training opportunities in order to delivery interventions that are strong in research evidence base.

Working independently within the overall framework of the service policies and procedures you willwork within existing MDT and Clinical Governance structures to support the services in future development and ensuring quality assurance.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Post-graduate doctoral level qualification in Psychology (clinical, counselling, forensic).
- Registered with the HCPC and BPS.
- Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience of working with adults who have an intellectual disability and/or autism with additional needs (e.g. complex trauma, mental health needs, behaviours of concern)
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage strategically
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of key partners
- Able to work sensitively with people and resolve conflict effectively
- Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
- Substantial and relevant post-qualification experience with adults.
- Experience of lecturing/teaching/training
- Full valid UK driving licence and access to a car
- Skills in the management of data are also important as the role includes collecting and analysing data to inform various pieces of service delivery, development and project work.
