This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fleet Co-Ordinator to join the London region. As Regional Fleet Co-Ordinator your responsibility is to support and enable the fulfilment of customer orders and collections through monitoring of the rental daybook (all planned transactions and equipment moves), future asset utilisation reports, and by liaising with Transport Planners and Engineering to create a workplan that maximises revenue and which generates the most profitable machine availability mix.

Reporting into the Regional Logistics Manager you will be the first point of contact and escalation for Sales Advisors to find appropriate solutions to orders we would otherwise lose through availability of machines or haulage.

- Ensure there is medium term outlook (1 week) to understand potential pinch points and plan early action. In particular, utilise the over-reservation report.
- Respond quickly to internal queries from Sales Advisors on machine and transport availability, finding sensible ways to say yes to customer enquiries.
- Be creative, looking at alternative depots, alternative machines, etc.
- Ensure there are clear collection priorities (vs utilisation and known demand).
- Transfer orders between and across depots to match availability. Where out of region, do so in consultation with counterparts.
- Request internal moves to balance fleet availability across depots and regions (in conjunction with other RFCs)
- Liaise with the Regional Transport Manager to identify potential issues with Driver actions and success/failure rates.
- Looks for opportunity to sweat vehicle assets by maximising out-of-hours driver activity.
- Monitor future orders and commitments for special requests that require certain lead times, e.g. Blue Sky attachments.

Key Attributes be able to:

- Support revenue through efficient and effective fleet utilisation
- Deal with all Sales Advisor queries efficiently and cost effectively.
- Manage resources within department to ensure they are utilised in an effective manner.
- Review management information and follow up on outputs with the team.
- Ensure all departmental costs are controlled in line with budget.
- Ensure that all administration tasks and processes are accurate and kept up to date.
- Ensure compliance to legislative requirements and internal quality, health, safety and environmental policies and standards.

The Ideal Regional Fleet Co-Ordinator will have:

- A proven track record in some form of resource planning environment.
- Experience of sales through service models preferred.
