- Support Launch Initiatives: Assist in the rollout of new products and programs in the region. A successful Fleet Operations Manager will possess robust operational knowledge and an understanding of local market conditions.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to address operational requirements. The Fleet Operations Manager will be responsible for executing programs with unclear deliverables and aligning stakeholders to meet daily operational needs. Strong negotiation and influence skills are essential.
- Manage Vehicle Deployment: Oversee the distribution and availability of vehicles across the UK. This role demands technical expertise to balance trade-offs between cost, quality, and efficiency, escalating issues to leadership when necessary.
- Travel Requirements: This position will be based in one of our operational hubs and requires the ability to travel 20-30% of the time within the designated region.
Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is responsible for 'last mile' delivery operations in collaboration with third-party distribution partners. Our operations consist of two main components: our 'under the roof' associates who manage the processing of products for dispatch, and our 'on the road' team who work with a network of delivery contractors. - Experience managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Advanced degree or MBA.
- Experience in Fleet Management or Operations, or a related field in mobility services.
