Lincoln, United Kingdom Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust Full time

An opportunity has arisen in Lincolnshire Community Health Services (LCHS) for a Operational Matron to join their Community Nursing Leadership Team on a 6 month secondment.

This role involves working closely with local teams across all service lines, corporate colleagues, our Lincolnshire Health and Social Care partners including Primary Care Networks and local GP surgeries to ensure exceptional care and an optimum patient experience.

This role reports directly to a Deputy Divisional Lead and links with the other Clinical Service Leads to ensure clinical and non-clinical safe, effective and high-quality services are provided. This exciting opportunity will allow you to develop close and effective working relationship with peers, colleagues and key stakeholders; working collaboratively within and across organisational boundaries

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust is in the top 25 per cent of all community trusts for overall staff engagement in the 2021 NHS National Staff Survey.

LCHS recognises the increasing demand for more flexibility in working practices in order to accommodate the personal goals and commitments that employees experience at different stages during their working lives. Flexible working opportunities such as part-time working, compressed hours, job shares, and hybrid working models can help staff to balance their personal and work commitments. Arrangements can be put in place if it can be shown that the needs of the individual can be balanced with those of the service and the impact on other team members, enabling the Trust to recruit and retain skilled staff, raise staff morale, reduce absenteeism and respond to changing service needs more effectively.

Please see attached documentation for full Job Description, Person Specification and main responsibilities.

Based on feedback from our staff, we have been named among the Health Services Journal’s (HSJ) and Nursing Times’ top 100 ‘Great Places to Work’. We’re in the top 20 per cent of all community trusts for overall staff engagement in the 2014 NHS National Staff Survey

We are a Disability Confident employer ensuring that disabled people have the opportunities to fulfil their potential and realise their aspirations.
