Adecco are recruiting for an Academic Operations Administrator to work for a prestigious university based in Central London.

**Hours**: Full time (35 hours pw)

**Contract type**:Temporary role - 4 months

**Pay rate**: £14.59 per hour

**Role Purpose**

The Academic Operations Administrator will play a vital role in supporting the wider Academic Operations Team in operational and course support queries. Supporting the Director and Deputy Director of Academic Operations in tasks as appropriate, they willact as Secretary to operational meetings and Committees as needed, organise and support events and assist with the production of course materials.

Acting as the first point of contact, they will assist stakeholders, manage shared team inboxes and support communication within the department. There will be opportunities for supporting project work, assisting the Academic Operations Officers in co-ordinatingmonthly and quarterly operational meetings, as part of Alliance groups.

The Academic Operations Administrator will assist in making bookings for travel and accommodation requirements, co-ordinating travel for senior leaders in the Provost Group.

**Duties**:

- Support the Director and Deputy Director of Academic Operations in administrative tasks as appropriate.
- Supporting Academic Operations Officer in operational and course support queries, and in developing action plans and support documents as required.
- Assist in administrative support for preparing materials for course (re)validations and preparing materials for External Examiners when required.
- Support on project work in line with business needs, as required.
- Carry out various financial administration duties such as raising Purchase Orders, processing invoices and expense claims, credit card reconciliations, and submitting expense claims in a timely manner.
- Organise and support events as and when required, including team away days, lunches and dinners and adhoc events.
- Assist with production of programme materials for teaching and events.
- Support Academic Operations Officers in co-ordinating quarterly marketplace review meetings for Alliances to consider course health, fees and new course development.
- Arrange meetings for staff. Act as Secretary to various Committees and other meetings, taking minutes as required.
- Make bookings for travel and accommodation requirements for relevant staff. Co-ordinate travel itineraries for the Provost Group including high profile external visitors and ensuring that travel abroad is planned and operated in accordance with the Universitypolicy and guidance.
- Assist in the production of appropriate support documents, reports, presentations and associated documentation including proof reading and binding.
- Update relevant intranet pages
