Nuffield Health are seeking a Customer Service focused individual to support our busy Bookings Team at our Chichester Hospital as a Bank Bookings Administrator. This is a flexible role to cover annual leave, sickness and support team at peak times.

As a Booking Coordinator, you’ll be a conscientious individual with a helpful, supportive approach. Your ‘can do’ attitude shines through. As being a good communicator both over the phone and in person, you bring strong organisation and administration skills.

**Booking Coordinator**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- To ensure complex administration and support meets all required standards and timescales.
- To manage, appraise, and interpret data, information and /or situations.
- To handle all enquires, or queries raised efficiently and effectively, escalating appropriately where necessary.
- To ensure all data/information is entered, modified, maintained and presented accurately and efficiently using the appropriate electronic or manual system and format.
- To prepare standard and adhoc reports as requested and required by the department

To provide clinic support, including but not limited to:

- The provision of professional patient and consultant liaisons
- Appointment bookings and changes
- Co-ordination of room /consultant availability
- Consultant/GP partnerships
- Create, alter or cancel clinics as required to support business needs

**The Person**

As an experienced Customer Service individual you will have the following skills;
- Previous experience working in a fast paced customer service environment
- Demonstrable ability to prioritise and organise a workload of changing priorities
- Excellent telephone manner
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Good working knowledge of excel, word, outlook, bespoke database
- Excellent attention to detail
- An understanding of the importance of policies and operating procedures
