Patient Safety Facilitator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone who is highly organised with excellent communication skills to join the Patient Safety team as a Patient Safety Facilitator.
As part of a central team, the post holder will support the quality governance agenda and play a key role in promoting patient safety and quality, working closely with care group clinical leads, nursing leads and senior management.
The post holder will have a range of responsibilities in relation to patient safety/risk and will support in the development of an organisational learning culture within the Trust through the management of all aspects of patient safety including review of incidents, and facilitation of learning responses in line with the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF).
To work effectively and flexibly under the direction of the Head of Risk and the Risk and Patient Safety Manager to ensure high standards of performance are maintained.
