We offer study at all levels - undergraduate, postgraduate taught and PhD - in our ten departments which, alongside the traditional arts and humanities disciplines housed within English, Philosophy, Greek & Latin, the Slade School of Fine Art and the School of European Languages, Culture & Society, also includes the departments of Hebrew & Jewish Studies, Information Studies, Arts and Sciences (offering the interdisciplinary BASc/MASc programmes), the School of Slavonic & East European Studies and European & International Social & Political Studies.

**About the role**:
This position is designed to support the governance and development of education across the Faculty of Arts & Humanities (A&H). Working as part of the A&H Faculty Office Team, as well as with colleagues in the nine departments across the Faculty, the Joint Faculties Education Team (which currently supports both the Faculties of Arts & Humanities and Social & Historical Sciences), and the central Student Records team, the post holder will play a key role in delivering our vision of an excellent education for all students in the Faculty, by providing professional administrative support to progress students from admissions and enrolment, through to module selection, examinations and awards.

A key purpose of the role will be to improve the quality of student and curriculum data held in Portico (SITS) and support an enhanced Student Records service for the Faculty. The post will also strengthen connections between the Faculty and its Departments, and UCL’s Student Records team. On a day-to-day basis, the role-holder will work closely with a variety of staff from across the Faculty - both academic and professional services - to ensure that departments within the Faculty are aware of their responsibilities, and that appropriate data are gathered to ensure that the student records are appropriately managed. The role-holder will work closely with the Vice-Dean (Education) for A&H and Joint Faculties Education Team.

The role is offered as a fixed-term contract or secondment while we restructure the current Joint Faculties Education Team into two discrete Faculty Education teams, one of which will provide dedicated support to A&H. The role holder will support this process as well as a number of other change projects starting in 2023-24 (Curriculum Complexity Streamlining; Programme Excellence) and will work with students and colleagues across A&H to ensure the student journey through UCL is as smooth as possible.
- **This is a fixed-term role until 31**st** July 2024 in the first instance.**:

- This role does not meet the eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa certificate of sponsorship under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. Therefore UCL will not be able to sponsor individuals who require right to work in the UK to carry out this role.
- This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 40% on site.
