**About us**:
*Open to internal UCL applicants only* The Faculty level Education Team in Arts and Humanities (A&H) is currently shared with another Faculty - Social and Historical Sciences (SHS). As part of wider changes, in 23/24 we will be moving away from this shared resource model to one where each Faculty has its own dedicated resource. Funding has been approved for this change, but the transition will take time. An interim role has therefore been agreed to support the transition from the A&H side and ensure that the work undertaken allows us to both bring in dedicated resource and review our potential alignment as we do so to the new EASE Model being rolled out across UCL.

**About the role**:
Under the direction of the Dean and the Director of Operations (DOO) and working closely with all EASE staff in Arts and Humanities (A&H) - including for example the Vice Dean Education, Teaching Leads and the Faculty Learning Technology Lead - the Faculty Education and Student Experience Change Lead will lead on two large change projects for the Faculty. Each has the potential to have significant impact on the model for teaching, learning and student support in A&H. This role will be key in ensuring that any such change is managed proactively, effectively and aligned to our values. They will also undertake smaller EASE-related evaluation projects for the Dean, DoO, Vice Dean Education - an example being to evaluate Student Support needs in the Faculty.

**About you**:
*Open to internal UCL applicants only* The successful secondee will have significant knowledge of UCL Teaching and Learning processes, practices, and systems as well wider UK HE Sector changes in this area. They will be a leader with drive and the ability to take others with them in their vision. They will be able to review both quantitative and qualitative data and use this, and their own knowledge, to suggest ways forward in all projects given to them. They will also be experienced enough to represent the A&H Faculty view at institutional meetings and to translate A&H needs into actual outcomes, ensuring we have the model for the Faculty-level EASE team we need for the future by the end of the secondment.
