**Purchasing Administration Assistant
- Full-time or Part-time positions available**
Key duties and responsibilities:
Working within the Purchasing Department providing administrative support in all areas to do with products. As part of the department knowing all procedures that fall within purchasing, to enable cover and help.
- Responsible for managing a variety of administrative tasks including: answering phone calls to clients and suppliers.
- Helping with the preparation of products and documents for New Product Development meetings.
- Maintaining and scheduling any price increases.
- Any other duties that may be required within the Purchasing department.
- Helping with technical specifications for products, ensuring they are easy to find and access.
- Helping with DDC Compliance Excel Document and update daily for full and accurate completion.
- Help with completing all specification requests from customers in specific customer formats and uploading to required online portals.
- Understand / analyse / manage data on the ordering sheet and place necessary orders. Ensuring all orders are confirmed with the supplier and approximate delivery date is given.
- Help minimise out of stocks by successful demand planning and procurement.
- Administer the process of the Purchase returns, as and when called upon
- Any other reasonable duties required by the Purchasing Department.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £15,625.00-£25,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
