**Job Title**: Project Assistant

**Hours**: 22.5 hrs per week.

**Salary**:£12 per hour

**Location**: Primary place of work will be head office, Llandudno Junction with frequent requirement to work from other Crest premises (Conwy based).

**Term**: Fixed term contract - 28 weeks (May-Nov 2024)

**Reports to**: Social Inclusion Manager

**Purpose of the post**

To positively contribute to our social inclusion team on an exciting new project supporting participants on 3 month Assisted Community Employment (ACE) placements within Crest numerous community-based enterprises. The role will necessitate close collaboration with our Conwy Employment Hub (CEH) partners to provide 1:1 employability skills mentoring and support for project participants in working towards and securing sustainable employment outcomes in the mainstream economy post-programme.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**

1. **Project specific**

1.1 To assist the Social Inclusion Manager and the In-Work Support Co-ordinator to ensure ACE project participants receive high quality support prioritising the needs of the individual.

1.2 Work effectively with the Social Inclusion Manager and the In-Work Support Co-ordinator to assist in the delivery of high-quality generic group in-work support activities.

1.3 Assist In-Work Support Co-ordinator in assessing ACE participant employability skills progress and performance.

1.4 Assist in monitoring ACE participants progress and maintaining accurate documentation of attendance, assessment records and ACE participant portfolios.

1.5 Assist both the Social Inclusion Manager and In-Work Support Co-ordinator in collaborating with and supporting project partners to promote a positive development environment for ACE participants to thrive in.

1.6 Assist the In-work Support Co-ordinator in liaising with CEH partners to proactively engage with local employers to identify post-programme employment outcomes for ACE participants.

1.7 Provide cover for the In-Work Support Co-ordinator in the event of absence.

2. **General**

2.1 To be responsible for the health and safety of self and others in work setting; ensuring Health & safety guidelines are always followed.

2.2 To represent Crest Co-operative in a professional, positive, and courteous manner always.

2.3 To attend and actively participate in all team and external meetings as required.

2.4 Maintain lines of communication with line manager to ensure a proactive attitude to problem solving.

2.5 To undertake such additional duties appropriate to the post and to support the organisation’s wider goals by working flexibly across the organisation from time to time as determined by your manager.

2.6 Undertake occasional work out of office hours as necessary to meet needs of the role.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour
