- St Andrews Nursing and Care Home, as part of Jasmine Healthcare Ltd are currently looking for _an Activities Co-Ordinator_ to be a part of our dedicated and highly professional team. You will join our wonderful and talented team of Activities Coordinators at the home._
- St Andrews Care Home, is situated in the beautiful village of Ewerby with high class facilities and beautiful landscaped gardens. With 45 bed facility, we take exceptional pride in working as a team to provide care that honours and values our residents._

Day to Day Responsibilities_**
- Contribute to our residents' well-being through thoughtful, personalised activities and have a weekly plan ready each Monday to bring joy to our residents' lives. Join our community of Activities Co-Ordinator's at Jasmine to share successful ideas and activities.
- Provide support for our residents facing confusion or behavioural challenges by employing effective person-centred distraction techniques and activity baskets and offer one-to-one comfort and companionship for residents unable to participate in activities, documenting interactions in their notes.
- Ensure the activity calendar is uploaded to Facebook each week and is also visible around the home. Post interesting activities on the Homes' Facebook page.
- To keep up to date of new developments in both activities and care by identifying and attending activities meetings and ensure our monthly Newsletter is completed and is displayed around the home and posted onto our Facebook page.**_
Essential Requirements_**
- Experience of planning and organising activities and be creative and enthusiastic
- Good time management
- Excellent communication skills
- Good computer skills
- Must be able to work 30 hours minimum per week

Desired Requirements_**
- At least one years' experience providing activities in a care environment
- A relevant level 2 or 3 qualification
