We have an exciting opportunity to lead the Children's Health Team at Lincolnshire Secure Unit.

This is an opportunity to join and lead a multidisciplinary team, who work closely alongside colleagues from other agencies to provide healthcare support to children who reside at the unit.


You will support the Service Manager in providing effective frontline management of the Healthcare Team in the Lincolnshire Secure Unit (Local Authority Secure Children's Home ).

In agreement with the Service Manager, you will provide leadership and working in partnership with children and young people and their families and carers, they will ensure access to the full range of specialist assessment, and therapeutic interventions for mental health, emotional wellbeing, physical health and substance misuse issues.


This is largely a 9am-5pm role but you will be expected to work flexibly in order to assist with the provision of the core 9am - 9pm service including an on-call provision up until 9pm.

The on-call offer at weekends and bank holidays is from 9am-1pm on a rota basis.


You will be working within an MDT environment, provide a high standard of needs and risk assessment and deliver group work and individual care packages, through the Care Programme Approach processes, to children and young people resident in the LSU.

You will provide professional advice and support to other teams, agencies and members of the multi-disciplinary team.


You will support and work in partnership with the service psychologist in the delivery of the Secure Stairs project within the unit and the reporting of data associated with the Secure Stairs Project and the NHS England contract.
