Our client, a long-established manufacturer and leading global supplier of pigments and dyes, is seeking a production operative to join their manufacturing team based on their site in Flint. Due to their consistent growth and demand for their business, they are looking for hardworking and committed individuals to expand their team in order to meet demands.

Previous experience working in a factory/production environment would be advantageous but it is not essential for this role.

**Responsibilities**

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Operate machinery
- Ensure finished products meet the quality standards
- Pack iron oxide pigments into various bag types and sizes
- Ensuring all packaging and labeling items are correct in line with packing specifications
- Support the team during busy periods, being flexible and adaptable with working hours when required
- Ensure production/factory areas are clean and free from obstacles/dust

Given that you would be working with pigments and dyes, the manufacturing process given its nature can create quite a messy working environment. Full PPE including overalls and masks will be provided by our client and use of showering facilities will be available.

**Shifts**

You will be working rotating shifts and you will be required to work 4 days a week.

Week 1: Monday to Thursday 6am-6pm

Week 2: Tuesday to Thursday 6am-6pm and Friday 6am - 4:30pm

This will mean that every two weeks you will have a 4 day weekend.

Overtime will be available for those who are hardworking.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
