Adult Safeguarding Administrator/ Dols Gatekeeper

The Adult Safeguarding Team are looking for an administrator to join this small team within the Trust. This is an essential role supporting the team in carrying out their safeguarding functions.
The role requires administrative duties in relation to the statutory requirements of the Mental Health Act and the Mental Capacity Act including data collection, management of databases and production of reports and audits as requested by the team.
You will support the team by coordinating safeguarding meetings and training events.
As a gatekeeper for Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards you will have an eye for detail and be responsible for liaising with clinical areas and external agencies.
Excellent communication skills are expected at all levels as well as the ability to deliver high quality work and to meet deadlines.
Working in Adult Safeguarding requires a high level of resilience however it is an areas where there is also a high level of job satisfaction, working to protect adults at risk of harm or neglect.
