The Children’s Safeguarding Team is an extremely busy team and the work is varied and interesting.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced individual who is able to provide a strictly confidential full administrative service making full use of electronic communication, computers and databases to support the effective delivery of the role and exercise total discretion at all times when working with the team and outside agencies. Excellent time management and communication skills are essential for this role. The role will include being party to some extremely sensitive and distressing information, the post holder should be aware of this when applying, although full support will be given at all times.

Main

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide a full range of Administration duties to the team.
- Maintenance of databases, to record activity and compliance for the team.
- Dissemination of Safeguarding information to internal/external professionals, as directed by senior nurses, ensuring safe methods of communication are used at all times.
- Microsite administrator.
- Triage of calls to the team from professionals - recording and escalating these calls as appropriate.
- Typing of reports, minutes, agendas, general correspondence, presentational material, etc.
- Other administrative tasks as appropriate.
- Produce reports and circulate to the wider team.
- Maintenance of filing systems.
- Photocopying and collation of documents.
- Assistance with formatting rotas for the team.
- Any other duties within the general scope and context of this post.
