The Marketing and Communications Team has been shaped to stay ahead of the competitive marketplace and to ensure that Aston’s distinctive brand positioning is communicated clearly to all stakeholders.

We employ a talented pool of ambitious and motivated academic and professional staff and are looking for an equally skilled Degree Apprenticeships Marketing Coordinator to join our team.

The postholder will support marketing campaigns across a number of audiences, with specific focus on the marketing of Degree Apprenticeships; developing and implementing marketing plans to support employer and apprentice recruitment targets.

Degree apprenticeships are a pathway for employers to train their staff through Higher Education, and Aston University is a leading provider, being the first university with degree apprenticeship graduates

A confident communicator, the postholder should have a high degree of organisational ability, be able to work effectively and flexibly on a range of projects and, to tight and sometimes conflicting deadlines. Experience of working in a university marketing team and knowledge of degree apprenticeship marketing would be an advantage.

Satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for this role.
