Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive - Place, we are currently seeking a new head of service post of Head of Development and Corporate Landlord to work across an exciting range of services. This is a key leadership role within the councils, with thisposition also being within the strategic management team, and will, therefore, be vital in leading cultural change and developing excellent relationships that enhance corporate working and delivery across senior officers, elected members and partners to maximisethe benefit and service for the people of South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse.

The role will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of a new corporate landlord structure approach to the councils’ property estate and driving innovative property initiatives linked to the councils’ ambitious corporate plans.

We are looking for someone who has a real interest in place and the vision and drive to lead this exciting new agenda. Someone with excellent people management skills and the ability to inspire others to deliver the required service transformation. To besuccessful, you will need to have a strong track record of change, engagement and service achievement. You will also need to be a true leader who is not afraid of a challenge and is ambitious for the ‘Place’ and the communities we serve.
