A leading organisation in realising fusion energy is seeking a Head of Procurement to play a pivotal role in the complete commercial procurement function for operational provisions. **Responsibilities**:
- Manage the Procurement Department, setting targets, monitoring performance, and ensuring resource capabilities.
- Ensure full legal compliance in accordance with Public Contract Regulations 2015.
- Engage and monitor Procurement outputs to ensure compliance with legal and other regulations.
- Provide processes and systems for effective procurement and performance reporting.
- Engage with the Cabinet Office regarding Commercial Controls and lead the pre-commercial procurement policy and initiatives.
**Qualifications**:
- CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) MCIPS qualified.
- Minimum Grade B GCF Assessment Development Centre (ADC) within 12 months of appointment.
- Extensive experience in managing a team in Public Sector Procurement.
- Adaptable to change in line with new business drivers and government requirements.
- Dynamic and inspirational leader.
- Excellent communication skills, skilled in preparing and delivering presentations to large groups of senior staff and executives.

**Salary**: £80,000.00-£82,000.00 per year
