What You’ll do (the role)

**SUMMARY**

The Senior Vice President of Customer Engagement will oversee Powerverses entire customer engagement from prospects through to customers, driving efforts to maximize customer acquisition from the inbound and outbound leads delivered by Marketing. Also responsible for ensuring that customer engagement is focused on upselling and retention across the touchpoints across the customer journey.

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITES**

The role is responsible for providing the comprehensive and authoritative key performance indicators of the customer that shapes corporate and customer strategy and facilitates this with the leadership team.

Creating and advancing a consistent and highly automated customer experience at any touchpoint across the customer journey including:
Explore > Buy > Get > Use > Change

Ensuring visibility and control through an effective Sales Motion including:

- Process
- Tools
- KPIs
- Sales and Deal Coaching

Working with Marketing to ensure that the ideal customer profile (B2B & B2C) is being targeted effectively by providing:

- Systems
- Targeting data
- Measuring performance against KPIs
- Effective leadership of a team of business development representatives

Working with Sales to ensure that there is visibility and control over the pipeline so that Sales are coached then held accountable to achieve their budget and forecast. Ensuring we have:

- Systems
- Relevant targeting data
- Defined & effective sales process
- Measuring performance against KPIs

Ensuring a lean digital first Service experience for care and repair services

Who we’re looking for

**KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Experience in the home energy management industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CRM tools (such as Salesforce) with experience of manipulating data to produce insight and target outcomes.
- Experience in large programme delivery and project sponsorship is a must
- Significant experience leading strategic teams within B2B and Consumer
- Experience in translating Marketing plans into Customer Engagement Strategy, plus providing support and advice to Senior Leaders in the delivery of the organisation’s Customer Engagement strategy and objectives. (Or “Go to market” strategy in the absence of Biz Dev. Or Marketing Heads).
- Extensive experience in creating compelling customer experiences.
- Knowledge of competitor marketplace and market trends, omni-channel marketing, online media, social networks
- Customer facing experience is essential.
- Good understanding of optimising and automating selling and servicing journeys for B2B & B2C.

**PERSONAL QUALITIES**
- Strong leadership ability in a complex and fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to drive change, with equal emphasis on process and outcome.
- Highly numerate and analytical, comfortable with interpreting multiple customer data points to form hypotheses and make data-driven decisions
- Strong storytelling, communication and presentation skills with audiences at all levels, including Senior Executives and Board Directors
- Highly commercial thought leadership.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- MBA/Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
