DSFS is looking for an Assistant HR Partner to join our Human Resources and Organisational Development Team, this will be on a 12-month temporary basis to cover maternity leave which can be offered as a fixed term contract, secondment arrangement or job share. Our team works flexibly with a hybrid working approach, flexible hours will be considered

We are looking for a pro-active, forward-thinking individual. You will have a person-centred approach and be interested in driving change and service improvement. You must also show resilience and the ability to manage your own workload effectively.

You will work closely with the HR Partner and in turn will support the Head of Human Resources and OD in providing an expert, efficient, customer focused HR service to DSFS. You will contribute to promoting a positive culture of diversity and inclusion and continuous service improvement, in doing so, this post will support the DSFS HR Team to support and empower line managers in demonstrating good practice and contribute to DSFS becoming an employer of choice.

**The main duties of the job role will include**:
Support and coach DSFS managers in all aspects of the absence management in accordance with the DSFS Health and Attendance Support Policy

Lead on formal casework investigations for conduct issues, capability and performance issues and grievances are followed in line with DSFS Policies

Respond to first line queries from managers regarding all HR issues
