Senior Payroll Administrator/team Leader

**HICA is seeking a diligent, detail-oriented and experienced professional to support with our end-to-end payroll process for our 4 weekly and monthly paid employees.**
Reporting into the Payroll Manager, the new Senior Payroll Administrator/Team Leader will support with the preparation of the payroll data supplied from across our group of care homes and homecare offices.

- Salary - £32K per annum (depending on experience)
- Hours - 37 hours
- Flexible hours available.
- **The Role**:_
Key responsibilities will include:
- Support with the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll legislations.
- Analyse payroll data to identify trends and discrepancies and help to resolve payroll issues.
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data maintenance.
- Support with payroll validations and gross to net checks.
- Support with month end activities including running payroll reports, pension reporting and other 3rd party reporting.
- Taking responsibility and supporting the Payroll team to resolve payroll queries.
- **Skills/Experience**:_
- CIPP Qualification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Senior or payroll experience of more than 3 years.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong payroll knowledge including auto enrolment.
- Proficiency in using payroll software & Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload to help meet deadlines for monthly and 4 weekly pay cycles.
