**About the role**:
IRISi is a social enterprise established to promote and improve the healthcare response to domestic violence and abuse. We are looking for Advocate Educators who will deliver training to healthcare practitioners across selected general practices in Lancashire. You will be responsible for establishing relationships within your assigned practices for health professionals to have the confidence to identify and refer women affected by domestic violence and abuse into the service for support. You will provide 1:1 advocacy and support to women to manage their risks and needs.

You will need:
- Knowledge and understanding of the gendered nature of DVA, with specific knowledge of the effects on health
- _Experience of delivering 1:1 support for victims of domestic abuse and effective case management skills_
- Experience of providing quality training to a range of different audiences including professionals
- Experience of developing relationships with key stakeholders
