The new School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Central Lancashire is an international, research-active institution, the first facility of its kind to open in the county. For all Veterinary Lecturer roles, you will be given the learning and mentoring support needed to accelerate your development as an academic.

Whilst this is a full-time position, applications from applicants seeking a part-time role (minimum 0.We are looking for a veterinary surgeon who is enthusiastic about training the next generation of veterinary surgeons in feline clinical skills, medicine and surgery. Based primarily at our Preston campus as part of the academic team, you will be responsible for delivering teaching and assessment around all aspects of feline education, including the handling and clinical assessment of cats housed within our partner institution, Myerscough University Centre. Further off-campus teaching both at Myerscough and at our clinical associate veterinary practices is also possible as our students progress through their education.
You will have a veterinary degree registrable with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and ideally will also have:
A sound knowledge and practical experience of veterinary sciences including Feline medicine and clinical skills.
Higher education teaching qualification or professional (e.g. A relevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent clinical specialisation.
