**Role overview and skills required**:
The successful applicant will work within the People Team reporting into the Head of People.

We are looking for someone who has good people skills and can communicate with all stakeholders of the business. This role will involve supporting the Head of People and working with the People Specialist and People Partner.

This is a hybrid role, based out of our Newbury Office, with 3 days a week in the office, with flexibility, working in sync with the People Team.

**The ideal experience and knowledge required**:

- Working towards a Human Resource Management Qualification, with an interest in the employee lifecycle.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good skills in Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a busy environment and prioritise workload.
- Ability to operate under pressure.
- Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets.
- Ability to use initiative and take responsibility with a positive and can do attitude.
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn.
- Ability to form effective working relationships at all levels.
- Excellent team player.

We are looking for a motivated, committed, confident, and resilient person who is a good communicator, works well in a team, and is comfortable talking to people at all levels in the company. They should be curious and show a willingness to learn and question. The person needs to be methodical, have attention to detail and a good work ethic. And a prerequisite, is someone personable with a great sense of humour that we at TNP are known for

**Your responsibilities**:

- Assist in the audit process including the right to work process, ensuring all paperwork is validated and recorded.
- Create and prepare HR reports, undertaking analysis and liaising with the People Team to provide informative data, such as Connects, probation, right to work, starters and leavers etc.
- Updating HR system (Personio) as and when required.
- Support monthly Induction sessions.
- Support with administration with regards to reference requests etc.
- Ad hoc administrative tasks and project work as required.
- Responsible for the on boarding of all new employees from the point of acceptance of an employment offer; to include arranging the new starter induction, requesting references, and coordinating ‘Day 1’ activities.
- Responsible for the off-boarding process of employees, such as updating HR system (Personio) and submitting information to IT.
- Work closely with the People Specialist to ensure seamless transition of paperwork and processes and offer some administrative cover in their absence.
- Assist with creating PO’s as and when required.
- Arranging employee engagement initiatives and to mark moments that matter.
