**Training Coordinator**

**Location**:The role is based at the Trust’s office in West Berkshire. We have flexible working policy offering a blend of home and office-based working, with the understanding that these must meet the objectives of the charity and requirements of the role.

**Accountable to**:Finance and Operations Manager and Director, Charlie Waller Workplace.

**Start date**:As soon as possible.

**Hours of work**:35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, permanent. Part-time hours will also be considered.

**Salary range**:£22,000 - £25,000, depending on experience.

**Purpose**

To providesupport to the Director and team of part-time workplace consultants to help them build a successful training and consultancy service advising on all aspects of mental health and wellbeing at work.

**About the role**

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join the Charlie Waller Trust. This role is to support the development and coordination of activities in our new paid for service, Charlie Waller Workplace. This service offers strategic consultancy and training to employers, managers and staff on how to embed a whole organisation approach to mental health and wellbeing at work.

We are looking for a highly motivated, confident individual who is able to quickly develop rapport and maintain effective, professional relationships with a varied client base. This role will suit an individual with a keen eye for detail, who has excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to undertake independent research and engage with a varied range of stakeholder. The successful applicant will be able to effectively balance competing demands, manage a range of diverse activities from administrative support to working on our cross programme projects to engaging with our external clients and stakeholders.

You may occasionally be required to attend off-site meetings; if these are outside office hours, time off in lieu will be given.

**About the Trust**

The Charlie Waller Trust was set up by the Waller family in 1997 in response to the loss of their son and brother Charlie who tragically took his own life whilst suffering from depression.

We have since become one of the UK’s most respected mental health charities. The work of the Trust is focussed on improving understanding of mental health, to give young people and those that support them the knowledge, skills and confidence to talk more openly about mental health.

**About Charlie Waller Workplace**

Our consultancy and training advocates a “whole organisation” approach to embed a positive mental health culture within an organisation. Our focus is on providing high quality training and strategic advice and guidance, to help organisations implement practical, relevant, evidence-informed and effective practices that can make a tangible and sustainable difference.

This role sits within our new paid for service Charlie Waller Workplace, with all income we earn re-invested in supporting our free training with parents and carers, teachers and college and university staff. We work with leaders, managers and employees in the workplace but have a special interest in supporting young people in their early careers.

**Main duties and responsibilities**
- The first point of contact for customers, helping to identify their needs, advising them of our range of services and ensuring they receive a professional and responsive approach.
- Working with the Director and Consultants to produce professional documentation to support the customer relationship.
- Support the team with the day-to-day running of their customer relationships from initial contact through to evaluation and invoicing.
