Atm - North East Lincolnshire- Children in Care
4 months ago
North East Lincolnshire's Children's Services is seeking an Assistant Team Manager with a minimum 12 months experience of line managing qualified social workers in a children in care setting. Reporting to the Team Manager, as part of a team of 3 ATMs, you will be responsible for providing regular, high quality case and personal supervision to a team of up to 6 qualified social workers and a family support worker. You will support SWs to provide excellent care to our children and young people by maintaining strong oversight of children's care plans and by chairing meetings where there are concerns about the progress of the child's plan, or issues of safeguarding or placement instability.
You will also ensure robust quality assurance of report writing and compliance with internal and external deadlines. You will ensure your team consistently reaches performance expectations in relation to the delivery of statutory functions.
As a service we firmly believe in collaborative and partnership working and we don't just pay 'lip-service' to taking a child-centred approach. Alongside social work best practice, management skills and fantastic communication, you also need to be as passionate as we are about achieving the best possible results for the people we support.
Caritas Recruitment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
