**_ Our Purpose_**

We are looking for a People, Pay & Pensions Officer to join our team on a fixed term basis, to cover a secondment.

Our People, Pay & Pensions Team sits within our wider People and Culture service. We strive to provide a comprehensive range of HR & Payroll related services across our diverse workforce. It’s fast paced work, in a constantly changing environment where a flexible approach is required.

**_ Your Role_**

Your day-to-day role will be supporting our team with first line queries from all stakeholders in relation to people, payroll & recruitment queries and support requests. Our aim is to provide advice and guidance that is timely, professional, accurate and confidential - in line with our ‘EACH model framework’. You will also play a pivotal part in carrying out HR, payroll, pension and recruitment related tasks within the People and Culture Team.
- Our team have a blended approach with working arrangements. There could be a mixture of home/office-based working - this will be dependent on the needs of the services you support._

**_ About You_**
Experience of working within an HR, payroll or customer services environment would be advantageous. You would benefit from knowledge of the relevant HR and payroll policies and procedures, and you would require a good understanding of how to maintain and process employment related data.

We are looking for someone who also brings curiosity and enthusiasm to the role, along with experience of providing an effective and efficient support service.

You will be working with a diverse range of services to deliver change in an organisation where ‘one size doesn’t always fit all’, and so the ability to be flexible and adapt is essential.
