Communications and Patient Experience Officer

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic communications and patient experience officer to deliver campaigns, internal communications and oversee patient’s experience. The role is varied, and you could find yourself managing our website/social media accounts, designing letters or posters, drafting newsletters, and creating video content. You will require a broad range of skills, be highly organised, a strong team player and able to write and create content for Meon Health Practice.

**Responsibilities**:

- Write, edit, and proofread content for articles maintaining a consistent editorial style.
- Create newsletters and updates for Meon Health Practice
- Update and maintain Meon Health’s website.
- Create marketing collateral for campaigns including graphics and images.
- Manage social media channels on behalf of Meon Health Practice
- Maintain content calendar for social media activity and advise on audience appropriate content.
- Work with external suppliers.
- Work with the Patient’s Participation Group and feed back ideas to The Board
- Expert in the use of all Microsoft packages.
- Experience with writing, sending and collating surveys/questionnaires with the ability to advise on the outcomes to relevant management.
- Assist in project management duties as required.
- Undertake other appropriate duties as may be requested in line with the role

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in public relations or communications role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
- Proficient in using various communication tools and platforms
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

This role will be based at our Whiteley office and is for 20 hours per week to be worked Monday to Friday.

Meon Health Practice will assess the requirements for Statutory and Mandatory training for all new staff prior to commencement and aims to ensure that all Statutory and Mandatory training requirements are completed during the first 2 weeks of commencement.
