Permanent position, 36.5 hours.

Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organisational skills, with a strong attention to detail, and some experience of working with data and an understanding of GDPR will be advantageous. You should also have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Although assigned to a particular programme or team, a willingness to work in an integrated and flexible way is also essential. Developing relationships with key stakeholders, including agencies, academics and programme teams is also important in this role.

Please note there will be some travel required to London to support on photoshoots at The Shard.

**JOB PURPOSE**

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Marketing & Recruitment**
- To work with the design team to produce marketing assets (social media, website brochures, Dotdigital etc), as required by the Marketing Officer or Manager. This includes involvement in the concept, copywriting, photoshoot planning, design and distribution of materials. It will also involve negotiating and working with internal and external suppliers.
- To assist in the development, copywriting, design and placing of adverts for promoting WBS and its events.
- Support Marketing Officer in gathering student testimonials and blogs to publish in all media.
- To work closely with the Marketing Officers and Web team to ensure that courses across the post-experience portfolio are accurately reflected and updated on a timely basis on the WBS website. To create/edit relevant sections of the WBS website using the Content Management System.
- To support Marketing Officers with gathering market research data to determine customer segmentation, geographical and competitor trends to inform the marketing message.
- Contribute to website traffic driving activities, including Search Engine.

Optimisation (SEO); analysing keywords and traffic to the site; and helping prepare traffic reports.
- Ensuring external websites and directories promoting the School’s brand contain factually accurate content and information, and are updated as necessary.
- Source digital imagery and upload to set specifications to the website and external site.
- Assist with film requirements.
- Assist with social media activities including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and blogs.

**Administrative Duties**
- To maintain financial records in collaboration with WBS Finance team including requesting purchase orders, placing orders and creating and maintaining budget spreadsheets.
- Overseeing the booking, maintaining and monitoring of display equipment e.g. checking it is booked in and out on time, returned in good condition and is suitable for purpose if required.
- Assist with internal staff and student communications and an adhoc basis.
- To create and distribute the weekly WBS Business staff e-newsletter. This entails identifying and collecting news items, determining their relevance, basic copy writing and editing and linking to further information on websites when deemed appropriate if required on an adhoc basis.
