If you’ve answered yes to all the above, then you might be the person our client needs: we are supporting a global Asset Manager as they look for an Employee Relations Lead to work alongside their HR BP team and provide expert support on complex ER cases and other HR matters.

**What you’ll do**
- Working closely with the HR BPs and the business’s resident Employment Lawyer, you will be not only supporting on end-to-end complex ER issues, but also engaging across three broader functions of this role: Organisational Design, Policy Integration, and Corporate Strategy.

Across these functions, you will be lending your ER expertise to an exciting and ongoing harmonising project within the business, guiding the firm towards a more robust and resilient ER process with expert support provided to you by the Employment Lawyer. As such your days could involve anything from managing policy exceptions as required for individual employees, advising on how to manage the impact on employees during organisational change, as well as liaising with the HR Business Partners on their own unique ER caseloads.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Responsibility for various complex ER cases across the business and wider EMEA region
- Providing case management support on a wide variety of ER cases, taking ownership of certain ER processes and supporting HR BPs on others
- Collaborating with the HR CoEs to review existing ER procedures and continuously improve them
- Ad-hoc projects in the HR space as required

**Who you are**
- As you will be reporting into a Head of HR with over 12 years of experience leading on HR functions across the Financial Services market, this person requires in turn an individual able to work at pace, and deliver excellent service to clients within the firm. You will serve as a trusted partner to the Head of HR, utilising your broad base of experience as an HR professional to to handle the most complex of cases by affording employees the respect and dignity they expect, whilst simultaneously delivering upon the business’s needs to meet employment laws and regulations.

A strong background in the Financial Services, whilst ideal, **is not necessary for this role **- indeed, this role could just as well suit someone who has a longer length of experience as an HR BP or Manager working in non-Professional Services and managing complex ER cases. This could be the Retail or Hospitality sectors. Such a person may have recently moved into the FS space or might desire to make such a move.
