The gallery represents some of the most exciting and well known modern artists of our time. A loyal and growing client base comes from the local area, nationally and internationally and the company has built an excellent reputation for quality and service.

We are looking for a confident, outgoing sales consultant with proven success in luxury sales to join our small but passionate team. You'll need to be warm and engaging, share our love of beautiful things, and enjoy a luxury retail environment. **You do not need an art background** but a desire to sell a prestigious luxury retail product is essential (product training will be provided). A strong appreciation of art is obviously preferred

**Responsibilities**:

- Using your excellent communication skills and engaging personality you will develop long term client relationships through a consultative and advisory sales approach.
- Achieve maximum monthly sales potential in line with individual and gallery targets.
- Advise clients on the purchase of original paintings, limited edition prints, sculptures and other luxury items.
- Carry out sales consultations in the gallery or clients' homes - maintaining a professional manner and representing the business brand and values
- Working closely with the gallery owners, develop new sales channels in the consumer and business to business environments.
- Help host VIP evenings and high-profile artist appearances at the gallery
- Assist with social media and other marketing campaigns
- Curating and maintaining gallery displays
- Carry out day to day administration of orders, enquiries, liaising with suppliers as necessary

About You
- You will have proven luxury-retail experience and be comfortable selling high value items
- You will be driven by success and have a proven track record of meeting financial targets.
- You will need a “can-do” approach, be self-motivated and enthusiastic.
- A keen eye for detail is essential, and an eye for colour and composition will be an advantage.
- You will be comfortable visiting client’s homes and a driving licence is essential.
- Experience of creating social media content, or creative writing would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Good IT skills including Outlook, Microsoft Office Word and Excel is essential. Working knowledge of a CRM system is desirable.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £19,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
