As an apprentice within this team you be able to study for a recognised qualification in Level 3 Business Administration whilst gaining valuable skills and work experience in business administration. This vacancy is based at our Birmingham Vincent Drive centre.

**Main duties of the job**
- Manage data bases, including entering and archiving data, producing, printing and distributing correspondence and reports and ensuring accurate maintenance of various spreadsheets and trackers.
- Manage and process Assets, equipment, and vehicles, in line with deadlines and maintenance schedules. Run reports and update Q Pulse.
- Support the Managers and act on their behalf in their absence, within the remit of the role, in order to meet deadlines, provide solutions and avoid disruptions.
- Co-ordinate projects, training events and meetings, taking minutes, sending diary invitations, creating agendas and other materials.
- Ensure timely document management, accuracy of paper records and manage an effective filing system.
- Arrange transport and other resources necessary for staff e.g. for training courses.
- Arrange Team Based Assistant shifts and other resources required to deliver the collection programme and update NEXTRA.
- Complete confidential HR records in line with HR Policy, support the recruitment process and prepare new starter packs.
- Assist with stores and uniform orders as required.

Schedule events and workload to ensure deadlines are met.

**About You**

**Experience and Knowledge**
- Experience of communicating effectively, using a variety of methods, including an excellent telephone manner.
- Experience with computer packages, including word processing, databases and spreadsheets.
- Experience of working in an office environment in a relevant role where managing databases and processing paperwork is business critical.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

**Qualifications and Training**
- Relevant GCSE/ A Levels and/or RSA 3 qualification or equivalent qualification / demonstrable work experience
- Willingness to undertake a formal qualification.
- Demonstrates commitment to own continuous learning and development
