You will support with day-to-day operations of HR Operational functions and duties, providing clerical administrative support to the HR Operations Manager.
You will gain an understanding of the operational and HR functions as the company moves to a sustained growth period.
This is a part-time position for three days a week, but it may move to full-time as the role and business needs grow.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide administrative support regarding the implementation of the New HR Software
- Support with the onboarding process, including issuing contracts of employment, ensuring all documentation is received, such as CVs, references, RTW documentation
- Working closely with the HR Operations Manager and managers and colleagues throughout the business in relation to any operational requirements and/or HR matters
- Support the business and be an advocate of good practice with HR requirements
- Undertake ad hoc duties and projects as delegated by the HR Operations Manager
- Monitor and log any absences and sickness data for circa 500 operatives, ensuring information is up to date, and liaise with the relevant Contracts/Labour Managers
- Creating and maintaining required spreadsheets
- Assist Contracts/Labour Managers in the performance review process
**Skills, Education and Experience required**
- Excellent administration and organisation skills
- Experience working within an HR department would be extremely beneficial but not essential
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to manage and prioritise a very busy, demanding workload
- The ability to communicate at all levels
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Confidence to manage complex issues if required
