In this busy, varied role you'll help to research, design and implement cost effective, efficient tools and processes to support each stage of the employee lifecycle.

The HR team has opportunities within Recruitment, Training, Health & Safety, Employee Engagement and HR Administration. And we're looking for people with both experience and passion in any of these areas to join us. You'll need to keep calm under pressure, have bags of initiative and excellent communication and organisational skills.
We do things our own way at Aldi. But whatever we're doing, we must be getting it right. With a wave of impressive sales figures behind us, we're opening new stores at lightning speed. It means our HR teams have to make sure we have the right people, with the right skills, in the right place.
We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Assistant to join our HR Administration Team in HR at the Bolton office on a permanent basis. The role will cover a wide variety of HR administration and employment law topics as well as supporting with various wider HR projects which could include areas such as:
- Recruitment
- PR and Marketing
- Health, Safety and Insurance
- Learning and Development
- Employee documentation and employment Law
- Diversity and Inclusion
- Health, wellbeing and benefits
- HR Reporting
**Your New Role**
- Maintaining and updating a variety of employee documents including contracts of employment and The Employee Handbook
- Identifying gaps in current leader guidance within the Employment Law HELPBook
- Creating documentation for quarterly releases to both the Direct Leader and Personnel Leader Employment Law HELPBook
- Organising and producing reports and documentation for quarterly Freeths (solicitors) meetings
- Creating the quarterly Employment Law Report
- Horizon scanning for upcoming changes to employment law/legislation
- Assisting with creating employment law training and delivering of the annual risk register cascade
- Monitoring trends regarding post-termination issues, ACAS conciliations and grievances & disciplinaries
- Adhoc project support for the wider HR Team in areas as detailed above
**About You**
- Experience in an office based environment
- Understand the importance of confidentiality, honesty, and integrity
- Excellent attention to detail

- Ability to work on own initiative

- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Flexible to adapt to the demands of an ever-changing business environment
- Able to think strategically and is solution focused
- Adaptable
- Proficient in Office 365 i.e. Excel, Word
- Experience within a HR function in a similar role, would be advantageous
**What You’ll Get in Return**
- Starting salary from £33,390 rising to £41,460
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, with the opportunity of 2 days a week remote working
