MMP Consultancy are looking to recruit an excellent Neighbourhood Coordinator to work on a temporary contract based in London.

We are seeking an experience individual to provide administrative support to ensure the smooth day to day running of the neighbourhood service teams and to oversee the complaints and members enquiry process for the Neighbourhood Services Sheltered Accommodation teams.

Main Responsibilities:

- Working with and supporting Housing Management Project officer.
- Ensure all relevant correspondence is answered within prescribed timescales and that all complaints, councilor and MP enquiries are answered in accordance with procedures, guidelines and targets. Providing performance reports to managers
- Monitor, track and analyses complaints making recommendations on trends and improvements that will reduce volume and pattern of complaints and improve quality of service. Support learning from complaints by working with managers to identify lessons learnt and create action plans to deliver improvements.
- Oversee and co-ordinate Subject Access requests, Freedom of Information requests and Ombudsman enquiry responses, ensuring all deadlines both internal and statutory are adhered to.
- Co-ordinate the Sheltered Housing Forum, managing the forward plan, agenda approval and distribution processes. Minuting each meeting and ensuring actions are followed up and responses reported back to forum members. Preparation of relevant reports.
- Support the management and senior management team in Housing Management by preparing agendas and collating and presenting performance and management information for the team and other senior colleagues as necessary.
- Undertake administrative task that support the work of the operational teams, including coordinating training arrangements, producing monitoring and tracking spreadsheets and coordinating tasks that cut across all the service areas reporting to the Head of Neighbourhoods.
- Complete office risk assessments and ensure that safe working practices are adopted and that the building (including safety systems) and furniture are maintained to a good standard, reporting defects and chasing as necessary

Experience Required:

- Experience of working in a fast paced and high demanding
- environment
- Experience of working in a matrix management environment
- Experience working Housing Management services as an affective housing management coordinator role in an administrative role.
- Experience of dealing with challenging and complex neighbourhood services, giving advice, guidance and making referrals for preventative and early intervention support services
- Experience of supporting managers and team members to achieve performance and quality targets
- Good understanding of Housing Legislations
- Excellent understanding of what good customer service looks like and how to support others to deliver it.
- Excellent understanding of the operation and structures of Neighbourhood Management services
- An understanding of performance management frameworks and working to SMART targets
