**HR Administrator - Full-time - Central Brighton**

My client a national charity is recruiting for a full-time HR Administrator to join their HR team in central Brighton. You will be open and compassionate with a ‘can-do’ attitude, somebody who is willing to go the extra mile and take ownership of theirwork.

As the HR Administrator you will be the first point of contact within the HR Administration team. You will provide high quality HR practices with advice and guidance to managers enabling them to achieve their corporate goals and meet responsibilities tothe people they manage.

As a valued member of the HR Administration team, you are a vital part of the organisation. You are crucial in ensuring that services provided are safe and efficient so you must have a good understanding of compliance and a keen eye for detail.

**You will bring**:

- Administrative experience, including using MS office suite to produce letters, record data
- Experience using systems and maintaining records/databases
- An understanding of the importance of compliance and data
- Commitment to personal professional development
- Excellent organisational skills in a pressurised environment
- Knowledge of general office procedures
- Ability to develop and maintain robust reporting systems
- The ability to respond to appropriate requests for assistance, maintaining confidentiality whenever necessary
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- HR and payroll experience is desirable but not necessary

**Your day-to-day**:

- Independently managing a regional allocation of services and being the first point of contact for HR admin queries for staff in those services
- Prepare and issue job offer letters and starter packs for new starters, confirm start dates with prospective employees and prepare and issue statements of Particulars of Employment
- Putting care and attention to detail in to completing reference checks to ensure that service user safety remains at the forefront of our processes
- Understanding the importance and impact of compliance, pre-employment checks and data
- Taking ownership for your own allocation of work and completing frequent audits to ensure work has been completed to the best possible standard
- Ensure that all relevant information is sent to payroll including leavers information, MATB1’s, and a schedule sent of all new joiners and changes within the month.
- Process maternity, paternity leave etc on system and issue appropriate paperwork
- Take notes at meetings between managers and individual employees, e.g. disciplinary and grievance hearings, as required.
