Our client is a successful and ever expanding motor vehicle garage based in Edinburgh looking to take on a receptionist on a full-time permanent basis.

What the job includes:

- Answering incoming calls
- Taking bookings for MOTs and vehicle repairs
- Organising own work schedule and schedule of the garage
- Making orders of stock and maintaining stock levels
- Helping with paperwork and invoicing
- Greeting customers
- Dealing with customers queries
- Taking payments from customers
- A friendly and helpful attitude
- Be able to work well alone or as part of a team
- Willingness to learn
- Can-do attitude
- Own transport or live within a commutable distance

- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
- Check patients in and out, verify insurance information, and collect payments
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with insurance claims processing and follow-up
- Handle general office tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, and appointments
- Manage inventory of office supplies and place orders as needed

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread documents
- Knowledge of dental or medical office procedures is a plus
- Ability to transcribe dictations accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with order entry and clerical tasks
- Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software is beneficial
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per month
