A fantastic opportunity to join this unique client as their new Head of HR in North Norwich. You will be working closely with the business owners and heads of business to deliver an ambitious HR and people strategy through the company growth.

**Your purpose:
**To enable the company to maximise its impact through the strategic development and alignment of its people, culture, structures, processes and systems and, in doing so, ensure a long term and systematic approach to delivering sustainable performanceimprovement and effective engagement.

**Duties**:

- Shape the operational, policy and strategic direction of the human resources function; develop service delivery and innovative ways of effective working within a complex and multi-stakeholder environment.
- Responsible for all aspects of the HR function, provide leadership and management for staff in the team and be accountable for the planning, allocation and monitoring of workflow across the team
- Oversee recruitment, personal development reviews for all team members, ensuring that they are well managed and supported and are motivated to perform to the best of their abilities
- Advocate a high level of quality of service across the team, ensuring the department provides a professional, effective and efficient customer-focused service.
- Identify, develop, source and support the delivery of strategic staff development programme that aims to continuously upskill the team in key aspects of statutory compliance.
- Ensure full compliance of employment law, including managing equality and diversity, pay and reward and terms & conditions
- Manage key senior stakeholder relationships with the Directors and senior managers, including coaching senior staff where necessary
- Be a central player in the organisation’s senior team, shaping and developing the organisational culture.
- Develop and consolidating a strong HR infrastructure to support the fast changing nature of the business
- Enhance and embed HR systems and processes, including developing the HR Information System (Employment Hero) which will support the growing needs of the organisation and enable staff/crew access to key data
- Be responsible for all people-related analytics and KPIs and provide regular reports for Directors and senior management
- Provide expert consultancy to managers and Directors around employment law issues and best practice
- Build a High Performance Culture, including establishing and embedding a Performance Management framework
- Create learning and development (L&D) programs which support continuous growth and performance enhancement of the staff
- Develop, implement and evaluate a Recruitment and Selection Strategy initiating changes in line with best practice and in order to meet the company needs and equality and diversity commitments
- Develop, implement and evaluate a Reward and Recognition Strategy that enables the company to become an employer of choice and be sustainable in the future.
- Develop, implement and evaluate an Employee Relations Strategy to promote a positive working environment and culture.
- Develop, implement and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure effective, fair and consistent management of staff throughout the company, and ensure that the staff handbooks are comprehensive and up-to-date.
- Work with managers and colleagues and encourage individuals to develop the skills, competencies and attitudes to learn, work together, deliver their work to the highest standards and be accountable for it.
- Support cultural change and optimise performance through the effective implementation of the Performance Development Review (PDR) process to further develop and embed the company values and behaviours
- In collaboration with the Marketing and Communications team continue to develop and embed the organisational culture, values and behaviours so that they most effectively support delivery of the company objectives
