Our client, a commercial organisation based in St Albans is looking for an "HR Officer" to join them on a full time basis. Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive HR service to line managers.

You will be responsible for the following:

- Ensure the effective administration of all company HR processes.
- Provide an efficient and effective recruitment and selection service, liaising with line managers
- Be responsible for the accurate maintenance of employee data and ensure compliance with all data protection legislation.
- Provide advice and guidance in accordance with statutory provision and local policies to staff and managers
- Ad-hoc projects

You will need the following experience:

- Hold a level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice or equivalent level of experience. Willingness to undertake further relevant qualifications e.g. Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management.
- Previous experience of working within an HR office environment providing a range of HR administration activities in support of a SME workforce.
- Previous experience of working in a front line or people focused role.
- Significant general office experience including understanding of processes including pay calculations and the use of databases.
- Previous experience of the use of an HR Database system or confidence to become proficient with relevant training.

Salary £28-32,000 plus a competitive package of benefits and potential for growth within a dynamic international company.
